When I donate, where does my money go?

When you donate, you trust that we will deliver on our promises to bring your investment to the field in the way you intended. We are committed to openness and transparency in our finances.

Sponsorship funds not only provide food, clean water, discipleship and basic medical care for the child, but also give families the opportunity to participate in CarePoint programs.

As a Special Friend, you have the power to speak into the lives of these children and their families through prayer, encouragement and fostering relationships that can make a difference!

If I decide to cancel my giving, will it be easy to do so?

Yes, we have a dedicated dashboard for each user that makes it easy to adjust giving frequency and amount quickly. 

Instructions on how to cancel:

  1. After logging into account
  2. click "My Account"
  3. click "My Giving"
  4. under recurring gifts at the end of the designation line, click the menu (three small lines)
  5. click edit
  6. click status
  7. select the cancellation option.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Adventures in Missions Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 2000, and donations are tax-deductible.

Our platform makes it easy to receive regular giving statements.

Does my child directly receive my sponsorship funds?

No, proceeds help more than a single child or family. We work through trusted local staff members and advisors who ensure the funding goes to the correct CarePoint community for the benefit of all children and families that enter the CarePoint grounds.

What does $45/month cover?

A lot! Our programs are about so much more than providing food and letters to children.

$45 per month meets immediate tangible needs by providing nutritious food and clean water. It also sustains long-term transformation by providing discipleship and opportunities to engage in programming to strengthen families as a whole that will ripple into the community for generations to come!

Sponsoring a child has the potential to transform and strengthen a family. The family will have the opportunity to be part of our programs, as we walk alongside them on the path helping them move out from being a "disadvantaged benefactor" to an empowered contributor who helps bring their dreams for the community to life.

If I give am I locked in to a commitment?

We have many giving options ranging from one-time gifts, child sponsorship, project-based contributions, to full monthly CarePoint sponsorship.

We will always recommend child sponsorship because of the amazing opportunity to build a positive impactful relationship with a child at the CarePoint. By simply logging into your account and selecting the "My Giving" tab, any recurring donation can be altered or cancelled.

What ways am I able to give?

We have many giving options available, by far the easiest way to give and manage giving is through automated credit card payments.

If mailing a check:

  • Make checks payable to Adventures in Missions
  • For sponsorship donations, please include your child’s sponsorship number in the memo line
